Cabins and RV Rentals
We have a variety of cabins and six, new and well-appointed RV Rentals. We also have a two-bedroom Mother-In-Law Cottage
Basswood Vacation Rentals are perfect guests who enjoy the outdoors but want the comforts of home. In the winter, cabins and the Mother-In-Law Cottage are available overnight or monthly.
Please note, smoking is not allowed in any Basswood buildings, including all cabins. Pets are always welcome at Basswood; however, pets are only allowed in our Sleeper Cabins. Assigned Sites #’s are subject to change unless the guaranteed site fee is paid.
8-person Deluxe Cabin

Sleeping accommodations include 1 Queen Bedroom, 2 Full-size mattresses in the loft and one sleeper sofa/ futon (Pull out sleeper sofa/futon will accommodate two children or 1 adult comfortably)

The kitchen has a full-size fridge, microwave, stove w/oven, double bowl sink, coffee pot, toaster, dinnerware and cookware

Bathroom includes toilet, shower and sink

Deluxe RV Rental
We have six RV Rentals. They are comfortable, well-appointed, and include pillows and linens.

Each Sleeper Cabin is a log cabin style lodging unit. Sleeper Cabins do not have bathrooms or cooking facilities inside them. However, our award-wining bathhouses are easily accessible and open 24 hours everyday. All Sleeper Cabins are pet-friendly.

Mother-in-Law Cottage
Step back in history and stay in our cozy cottage. This structure was commissioned and built in 1935 to accommodate Harry S. Truman’s mother-in-law Madge Gates Wallace and his sister-in-law Natalie Oh Wallace. The view from the bedrooms is enough to make you feel like a President. Linens, pillows and towels are provided.
